The Research Schools (Danish: Forsker Uddannelses Programmer) at LIFE are organised in 5 administrative clusters.
SOAR is part of the Cluster of Research Schools in Natural Resources (CRS-NR), with three other research schools.
The four reseach schools in the Natural Resources' Cluster are:
The four research schools; RSHS, SOAR, AECON and REFOLANA; collaborate on issues of common interest, but continue as four distinct research schools with each their own profile, scope and aims. REFOLANA is a research school for the PhD students enrolled at Forest and Landscape at LIFE, while RSHS, SOAR and AECON are national research schools with PhD students enrolled at universities all over Denmark, and thus also other departments at LIFE Faculty.
The Cluster of Research Schools in Natural Resources is hosted by the Department of Agricultural Sciences, and Head of Department, Svend Christensen, is heading the cluster. Three other departments are taking part: Forest and Landscape, Institute of Food and Resource Economics and Department of Ecology.
An agreement of collaboration has been signed by the heads of Research Schools and Heads of Departments (Danish).
