Supervision course for PhD students and supervisors. 

 

Facilitators and lecturers: Associate professor Lise Kofoed and professor Anette Kolmos, Aalborg University.

Tasks and roles in the supervision process. Tools in supervision process; learning journal, logs, contracts etc. Tools for conflict awareness, communication and feed back.

Group discussions among PhD students: expectations to the PhD process, the supervisor, own working process and to the working environment.

Mixed group discussions (PhD students and supervisors): dialogue on expectations, challenges, experiences, and possible steps on initiatives and action plans.
